schedule>concerts>Spirit_of_Bangor Spirit of Bangor A special event featuring classic tradition with new delights for the entire community! The Spirit of Bangor combines the talents of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and eight other performing arts organizations for the most spectacular holiday performance ever presented in eastern, central and northern Maine. The Spirit of Bangor will include dances from the Nutcracker, performed by the Robinson Ballet; excerpts from Handel's Messiah, including an audience sing-along of the Hallelujah Chorus; Robert Shaw's choral work, The Many Moods of Christmas; an arrangement of the carol One Small Child, performed by the Bangor Area Children's Choir (BACC) and the Jubilation Bell Ringers; and the BACC with members of the Bangor Symphony Youth Orchestra for a presentation of Panis Angelicus.
