The Bangor Symphony Orchestra has been providing live music for the people of Bangor since 1896 and hasn't missed a season since.
From Beethoven to Tchaikovsky, old and new, the Bangor Symphony has something for everyone this season. The Bangor Symphony continues in its 112th season with its classical series of music, holiday favorites and summer POPS programs. The BSO offers concerts for youth to adult, for many tastes and all ages.
Many great artists have brought their talents to Symphony performances, from Yo-Yo Ma and Isaac Stern, to the world premiere concert with the Kruger Brothers in June 2007.
Maybe you've never seen a live orchestra perform – or experienced the rush of great music all around you. Or, maybe you attend every concert, every season, and can even hum the opening bars of Ravel's Piano Concerto in G.
Whatever your experience, you'll love what you hear at the Bangor Symphony Orchestra!
The 2008 Youth Concert Educational Packet is now available!
Join us for our inaugural golf tournament to benefit the Bangor Symphony Orchestra!
The Bangor Symphony Orchestra is a 2007 recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts award for artistic excellence.
